Data on the number of Anti-Social Behaviour Orders (ASBOs) are prepared by the Ministry of Justice, Office for Criminal Justice Reform (OCJR) Evidence and Analysis Unit using information supplied by the courts.

The total reported to the end of December 2007 stands at 14,972. The table below summarises the area-by-area figures. You can also download more detailed data in the Excel spreadsheets:

Data on the number of other Anti-Social Behaviour tools and powers used by Crime and Disorder Reduction Partners are collected each quarter by the Home Office, Anti-social Behaviour and Youth Crime Unit.

The total reported to the Home Office can be found by visiting the Anti-social Behaviour Action website. This shows data from October 2003 to the end of September 2008. The Anti-social Behaviour Action website also includes a summary of the ASBO figures where available.
