Suffolk Constabulary in partnership with Suffolk County Council, St Edmonsbury Borough Council, Suffolk Probation Service, Suffolk Youth Offending Service, Anglia Care Trust and Haverhill Partnership have been granted £21,700 for a project in Haverhill. The proposed interventions include providing support, counselling and supervision for a small number of persistent local offenders to stop them returning to crime.

Nottinghamshire Police in partnership with the Ashfield Partnership Against Crime have been granted £41,992 for a project in Sutton. The proposed interventions include information sharing arrangements with housing providers, an outreach worker to tackle drug related crime and Neighbourhood Watch schemes.

Nottinghamshire Police in partnership with the Ashfield District Council and Hucknall and District Neighbourhood Watch have been granted £14,349 for a project in the Wellbeck Estate and immediate surrounding area, Hucknall. The proposed interventions include property marking and photography of valuable items, extra security for low income victims and high visibility policing

Leicestershire Constabulary in partnership with the Leicester Partnership Against Crime and Disorder have been granted £340,500 for a project in Leicester. Prolific offenders will be targeted and schemes put in place to help stop them re-offending.

Derbyshire Constabulary in partnership with Derby City Council have been granted £492,100 for a project in Central and South Derby. The proposed interventions include the use of Geographical Information Systems, securing homes; an offender programme and local media campaigns.

Northamptonshire Police in partnership with Corby Borough Council have been granted £32,200 for a project in Kingswood & Lincoln Estate, and Arran Way Corby. The proposed interventions include additional door and window locks, and other home security improvements as needed, to accompany lighting upgrades, and a media campaign to accompany other local activity that is already being carried out.

Greater Manchester Police in partnership with Trafford Metropolitan Borough Council have been granted £31,267 for a project in Sale. The proposed interventions include provision of homelink alarms to victims, promotion of Crimestoppers, increased community awareness particularly for new residents, property marking, target hardening, cocoon watches, youth interventions and prolific offender targeting.

Kent County Constabulary in partnership with Ashford Borough Council have been granted £23,000 for a project in Stanhope Estate and other burglary hotspots in South Ashford. A weakness in the front doors of council / ex-council property has been identified which is being exploited by burglars. It is proposed to fit anti-jemmy strips and devices to make it much harder for burglars to remove lower door panels.

Avon and Somerset Constabulary in partnership with all the local authorities in the force area have been granted £650,000 for the purchase and use of new forensic technology. Identifying offenders and linking series of offences using the national Automated Fingerprint Identification System and the National DNA Database.

Avon and Somerset Constabulary in partnership with South Somerset District Council have been granted £34,900 for a project in Yeovil aimed at the over-60s. The proposed interventions include additional window locks and lighting, improved fencing, closure of pathways, promotion of neighbourhood watch and crime prevention education.

Devon and Cornwall Constabulary in partnership with North Cornwall District Council have been granted £4,700 for a project in Launceston aimed at elderly residents. The proposed interventions include training for dealing with callers, a media campaign, life-line alarms and other security upgrades, and community awareness training.

The proposed interventions include improving home security for burgled and other vulnerable houses, closure of alleyways, improved lighting, access control to maisonettes and flats and diversion of potential young offenders.
