The early sections of the document work through the role of the Crime and Disorder Reduction Partnership (or Community Safety Partnership as it is often known), its working processes, the techniques of crime reduction, how to measure its impact and the responsibilities of a range of agencies.
There is then a focus on how community safety work can be mainstreamed in the work of all agencies, guidance on the elements of an effective partnership and summaries of key legislation.
The final sections focus on alignment and relationship with other strategies, the role of Home Office and Government Offices, resourcing community safety work and a section specific to Wales.
Members of the NCSN can download the document from the members area of NCSN website.
