Crime Reduction - Helping to Reduce Crime in Your Area

Under the Asset Recovery Incentive Scheme, the Home Office pays back to front line agencies, including the police, 50% of all recovered assets. In Quarter 1 of 2009-10 the Home Office received a total of £27.8 million in recovered asset receipts. Of this total £5.2 million is being paid to police forces.
