E-tailing
Good practice in e-tailing
Welcome to the good practice in e-tailing mini site. This site has been set up to provide advice and information about e-tailing for consumers, retailers and crime reduction practitioners.
About the mini site
The Home Office chaired a consultation group that looked at ways to combat new crime threats from e-tailing. The e-tailing consultation group was made up of representatives from government departments, businesses and internet service providers. There is more information about the group and its members on the site. The group proposed that a web site drawing together information about e-tailing should be created. The site provides summaries of, and links to, existing examples of guidance on good practice in e-tailing which has been produced by government departments, business and internet service providers.
