If you are concerned about a child at risk from harm you must institute any local/national child protection procedures without delay.
All agencies dealing with children should have child protection protocols in place and you must follow them. You should now consult your line manager and any local or professional guidance on child protection.
It is beyond the scope of this tool to provide detailed guidance on child protection matters. However, Safeguarding Children. What To Do If You're Worried a Child is Being Abused contains important advice.
