Making contact

When you have compiled your wish list of areas where you think business might help you, it’s time to start making a list of those companies which might match your objectives.

Potential partners can be classified into three categories:

·        Companies that could be closely associated with crime reduction and community safety e.g. security companies, alarm manufacturers, locksmiths, DIY chains who stock security products.

·        Companies that could benefit by association

-         companies wanting to promote security of their products e.g. electrical goods manufacturers, car dealers, mobile phone and IT retailers

-         companies wishing to promote a responsible image e.g. transport companies, the licensed trade

·        Local companies which are not obviously related to crime reduction and community safety but wish to raise their profile in the community.
