Guidelines for all audiences When preparing information, bear in mind the following rules: · Don't patronise the audience. · Keep language straightforward - be it spoken or printed. · Consider layout, design and typography carefully. · Ensure that the availability of information in alternative formats is well publicised, and that the information is easy to obtain. · Wherever possible give a telephone number in publicity material, and a textphone number if available.
