Welcome to August's bulletin of new material on the Crime Reduction Website.
Reducing Burglary Initiative (RBI)
The Reducing Burglary Initiative, which ran from 1999 until 2002, aimed to reduce burglary nationally by targeting areas with the worst domestic burglary problems and monitoring the cost effectiveness of the different approaches to find out what works best, in which circumstances. Five reports evaluating the effectiveness of the initiative have been published this month
Anti-social behaviour
A broad range of material on ASB has also come to our attention this month and from diverse sources - Together, Nacro, Sheffield Hallam University and the Home Office. Together they provide excellent background material for use in reducing ASB.
Consultation papers
Three consultation papers were released this month. If you think you've got something you'd like to contribute to the discussion on Government policy in one of these areas - then here's your chance to have your say
