Information Sharing
Geographical Information Systems (GIS) have been found to be a useful tool by many teams over recent years. This guide from the Home Office looks at how to develop and deploy a system to reduce crime effectively.
Restorative Justice
New research published this month looks inside the meetings between offenders and victims and the outcomes of restorative justice schemes.
Penalty Notices for Disorder (PNDs)
PNDs have been increasingly used since their introduction in 2001. This report looks at home they're applied, something that appears to vary widely across the country. It also offers best practice examples, and recommendations - at both local and national levels - for improving their effectiveness.
Tilley Awards
Fancy a trip to the US? Enter the Tilley Awards 2006 and it could be yours!
New extra Criminal Damage category for this year’s Tilley Awards to encourage and recognise excellence in crime reduction using problem-oriented partnership principles gives you all the more reasons to not miss the application deadline – 28 April 2006.
