Quarterly crime figures
The latest statistics published by the Home Office - for the 12 months to June 2006 - show little overall change in headline crime rates. The overall crime rate is unchanged according to the British Crime Survey, and down by 2% according to the recorded crime figures.
Perceptions of crime
Further to the recent crime statistics, the Home Office have also published a short series of reports concentrating on people's perceptions of, and fears about, crime and anti-social behaviour and the perceptions of black and minority ethnic groups.

Vehicle crime leaflets
A revised series of the 'Steer clear of...' leaflets have been published by the Home Office. They contain advice on how to protect your vehicle and who to go to for further information.
