Contacting other organisations or departments in your local authority

You should try:

  • Police who may have intelligence and local knowledge

  • Police Single Point of contact

  • Trading Standards who may have received complaint about incorrect parts being supplied

  • Environmental Health who may have received complaints about particular sites 

  • Business rates dept at the local authority

You should try:

 

  • Developing local knowledge of industrial units in the local authority area by driving around the area
