Crime Reduction - Helping to Reduce Crime in Your Area

Motor Salvage Operators Regulations Toolkit

Protocols Protocols & Memoranda of Understanding & Memoranda of Understanding

Good practice suggests that for police and local authorities to work well together, there should be a formal agreement or memorandum of understanding so that each party is aware of their responsibilities in the process and can hopefully make a bigger impact on local, organised vehicle crime.

A number of areas have kindly given us permission to reproduce their current agreements in this toolkit to help anyone who  wishes to develop their own.

If you would like us to consider including your templates, please email us.

The agreements included are:

Memorandum of understanding about the Vehicles (Crime) Act 2001 Motor Salvage Operators Regulations 2002 between Devon and Cornwall Constabulary and the Local/Unitary Authorities of Devon and Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly  (32 Kb)
