
The NSGWI was established in 2005 to advise the Home Office on Neighbourhood Watch matters. It meets quarterly and is chaired by the Home Office and includes representatives from the volunteer's network (The Neighbourhood and Home Watch Network, England and Wales), The Association of Chief Police Officers (ACPO), NACRO, The Local Government Association (LGA), Neighbourhood Policing Programme, Crime Concern, the APA, TPAS and the Community Development Forum (CDF).
