This short quiz tests your knowledge of security in your home and community.
You can take the quiz as often as you like - you may want to make sure you get all the questions right!
You can print out a certificate at the end of the quiz, with you name, Watch group and score.
This package has been produced by the Home Office and the Association of Chief Police Officers (ACPO) in consultation with Neighbourhood Watch volunteers.
This toolkit can be used by individuals to find out about all aspects of Neighbourhood Watch, which is also known as Home Watch in many areas. It is particularly aimed at anyone who is running or wishes to run a local Neighbourhood Watch group.
This toolkit has been designed to enable you to work through it on your own. It is very simple to use:
Each neighbourhood is unique and has different needs and problems. This means, of course, that to meet the needs of every Neighbourhood Watch scheme, this toolkit needs to be flexible and adaptable. You do not have to work through the modules in any particular order. If you wish, you can use only those modules that are of interest or importance to your scheme, as some topics may not be applicable to your neighbourhood.
The modules have been published as PDF files. This means that they can be printed out and read in your own time and at your own pace.
Most computers open PDF files automatically, but you may first need to download a free copy of the Adobe Acrobat reader .
Adobe also provide a free online tool which converts PDF files to text.
