The 1998 and 2000 British Crime Surveys included computerised self-completion questionnaires designed to provide the most accurate ever estimates of the extent and nature of sexual victimisation in England and Wales.
Tackling anti-social behaviour: What really works?
Findings from the British Crime Survey (BCS) 2000 revealed that nine per cent of adults had experienced disorderly and anti-social behaviour in the last year. The most commonly cited anti-social behaviour was young people being rude or abusive (cited by a fifth of respondents).

This report describes results from an evaluation of the first 13 months of the roll-out of curfew orders, 1 December 1999 to 31 December 2000. The research aimed to establish whether the experience of the pilots was replicated nationally and to assess the effectiveness of the order.
