Tackling arson: Who can help?

There are many agencies and organisations who come into contact with the arson problem or upon whom it has an impact, although the main contributors to date have been the Home Office; the police; the fire service; forensic scientists; insurers; and loss adjusters.

There are, however, many different groups can have a role in reducing arson, e.g. by supplying information or taking action. Mobilising supporters is likely to involve making a case for action, appealing to partners different interests and looking to what help and support might be needed.
