Fighting Violent Crime Together
The Government published its Action Plan to combat Violent crime on 10 January
2001. The Plan set out a strategy based on:
improving support for victims
better policing
more effective punishment
dealing with causes of vioelent crime
a partnership approach
The Alcohol-Related Crime Action Plan links in with and works alongside the key points
contained in the Alcohol-Related Action
Plan.
