In response to the number of Crime and Disorder
Reduction Partnerships (70%) identifying alcohol-related crime and
disorder as a priority in their 1999-2001 Crime and Disorder
Strategies, the BBPA launched their Partnerships Initiative with
the support of the Home Office in March 2000.
The aim is to place BBPA representatives, who have
an understanding of the industry and knowledge of the local area,
with partnerships to help them address alcohol-related crime &
disorder.
