Outline Approach

The Report of the Policy Action Team 8 on Anti-Social Behaviour made a number of recommendations concentrating on specific action that must be taken to combat anti-social behaviour through Crime and Disorder Partnerships.

The recommendations have five key themes, which have been accepted by Government:

  • assigning clear responsibility

  • prevention

  • enforcement

  • reintegration/resettlement; and

  • combating racial harassment
