Property Crime Reduction Team

The Property Crime Reduction Action Team (PCRAT) was formed in November 1999. The team is chaired by a senior insurance executive ands brings together representatives from the insurance, security and retail sectors, police, fire and local authorities, Neighbourhood Watch, the Home Office and other agencies.

It is tasked with reducing all forms of property crime (including commercial crime) in partnership with central and local government, the police and fire services and commercial organisations.
