Who should be able to look at the information held?

Law enforcement agencies certainly, but non-police partners should be able to see hotspots and anonymised data, and of course on specific occasions, actual data where there is a need to know specific criteria. DAT’s and CDRP’s ought to understand the reasons for choosing key areas or locations for operations, and even to advise on the merits of these where there is opportunity to plan, which requires them to understand the rationale for certain operational tactics.
