The wider community
Whatever
the specific issues facing a partnership, ways need to be
developed about getting information into the wider community
to:
-
address the public’s concerns about thinking
crime levels are higher than they actually are.
-
distribute crime prevention advice in a way
which will help promote a greater sense of security.
-
inform people about what is going on in their
community to make them feel safer.
-
getting people involved in their local
community and keeping this activity going.
Look at
section 6 Good Communication
for more details about how to communicate to residents more
effectively.

bigger impact.
