Association of Chief Police Officer's Critical Incidents Training

ACPO has developed critical incident training aimed at chief officers and senior investigating officers responsible for overseeing racist and major crimes, and unexplained sudden deaths. The critical incident training package has been developed around a three pronged approach incorporating residential courses, exercises and seminars and an interactive computer package capable of simulating a wide range of scenarios. These measures are aimed at equipping the service with a range of skills needed to ensure that race crimes/incidents are identified at an early stage and effectively addressed and identified.
