Implementing Crime reduction – What could it look like?

Tackling and reducing crime is a top priority for our Force.

This guide has been produced to help operational staff translate our strategic aims and targets into activity that is proven to work.

The actions outlined in this guidance booklet are based on what works nationally and internationally in relation to our efforts to crack crime and related issues such as disorder and drugs misuse.

Staff should recognise that not every solution will be applicable to every problem and should view this document as a menu of options rather than explicit ‘must dos’
