Planning for action
Action plans will need to be developed and
subsequently monitored for any initiative. They will obviously need to
reflect the resources available locally. In addition to agencies
responsibilities for meeting victims’ needs, it is suggested that the
minimum levels of local resources which should be put into addressing
the problem include:
·
training;
·
developing practical materials to help identify victims
of trafficking and offenders;
·
assessing the extent to which trafficking affects their
particular client group;
·
ensuring resources are made available for documenting
cases, information sharing and liaising with other agencies;
·
developing publicity materials.
