Justice & Victims Unit Website

The Justice & Victims Unit (JVU) is responsible for issues relating to procedures in the criminal courts, and for policy relating to victims of crime (including compensation for victims) and funding of the Victim Support organisation

Much of the work of the unit is published in the Justice and Victims area of the Home Office website; in this area are relevant publications including

  • The manual of guidance for the preparation, processing and submission of files gives guidelines for the Police and Crown Prosecution Service for the preperation of case files.
