Victims Virtual Walkthrough
For victims of crime, the process of reporting it can be seen as a complex and daunting experience. To help put victims minds at ease, cjsonline have developed a 'Victims Virtual Walkthrough' in conjunction with the Home Office, ACPO, The Crown Prosecution Service, The Court Service and Victim Support.
The tour contains sections on:
Reporting a crime
Police procedures
Making an arrest
Will it go to court?
The trial and
After court
These sections guide the users through the formal procedures from why they should report a crime and the different methods of doing so to the issue of compensation and how to claim it.
This package is best viewed over a fast internet connection as some of the section are quite big and take a while to load.
This fits in with the other walkthroughs available, Juror online and The Prison Tour.
