Working with Working with offenders
Together we can reduce re-offending and increase public confidence
Local people have a critical role to play in helping offenders turn away from crime. Communities can and do make a difference. The development of the new National Offender Management Service (NOMS) presents an opportunity to involve more local people in efforts to reduce re-offending and cut crime. This paper presents Home Office proposals and asks for views by 1 June 2005.
